چکیده
The study presents the potential use of Kelud volcano eruptive deposits, Indonesia which includes river sand as fine aggregate, pumice well scoria coarse aggregate green structural lightweight concretes. Their physical properties were experimentally tested and compared with controls that commonly used in region. Furthermore, they applied on concretes designed for five determined compressive strengths normalweight concrete a control. fresh hardened mechanical also investigated experimentally. Precast slab units both their application evaluated maximum bending capacity, stiffness self-weight then to results stated sand, fulfilled requirements concrete. obtained approximately 30 MPa density reductions about 22%. For similar strength, capacities precast quite high self-weights at 28 days 85% lower than However, stiffnesses control so deflections must be considered design.

Properties of Green Lightweight Aggregate Concrete
With increasing concern over the excessive exploitation of natural aggregates, synthetic lightweight aggregate produced from environmental waste is a viable new source of structural aggregate material. The uses of structural grade lightweight concrete reduce considerably the self-load of a structure and permit larger precast units to be handled. In this paper, the mechanical properties of a str...
متن کاملPrediction of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Compressive Strength
Nowadays, the better performance of lightweight structures during earthquake has resulted in using lightweight concrete more than ever. However, determining the compressive strength of concrete used in these structures during their service through a none-destructive test is a popular and useful method. One of the main methods of non-destructive testing in the assessment of compressive strength...
متن کاملUpscaling the Use of Mixed Recycled Aggregates in Non-Structural Low Cement Concrete
This research aims to produce non-structural concrete with mixed recycled aggregates (MRA) in upscaled applications with low-cement content. Four slabs were executed with concrete made with different ratios of coarse MRA (0%, 20%, 40% and 100%), using the mix design, the mixing procedures and the facilities from a nearby concrete production plant. The analysis of the long-term compressive and s...
متن کاملExperimental Study of the Combined Use of Fiber and Nano Silica Particles on the Properties of Lightweight Self Compacting Concrete
In fiber concretes, microcracks in the boundary area between the cement paste and the surface of aggregates or fibers are higher. Natural and artificial pozzolans can be used for reinforcing this area. In this research, the combination of glass fiber, zeolite, and nano silica particles were used in lightweight self-compacting concrete containing scoria. Fiber volume fractions between 0% to 1.5%...
